I am set for the night. :]
I feel kind of bad because my dad definitely bought my groceries for me today, so I have a fridge and pantry full of food, but I am choosing to have a coke and chocolate for dinner. I’m definitely going running tomorrow. I never thought I’d say one day that my dad is awesome. Both of my parents are awesome. But, having dealt with some of the stuff from the past with my dad, I really thought we were never going to talk again and I’d never be able to ask him for help and even if I could ask, I wouldn’t. But, today he called me and asked what I was doing and when I told him I was about to go buy groceries, he told me to wait a few minutes and he would take me. He ended up spending almost $200 on me, which is a huge deal. When I thanked him for it, he told me it’s okay and that I deserve it because I work hard. That meant a lot to me. My family is hella dysfunctional and we’ve had some really rough times, but I’m glad that it’s bringing us to a good place.
